Carniceria Los Toritos

Sadly, I did not take any pictures!! I was in shopping mode. I can, however, give a good account of my time in the store. Upon entering, the aroma inside was wonderful! We were greeted right away, and the gentleman asked questions and engaged with us like we were long-time friends. He started handing us samples of different foods, and by the time we left, we were happily filled up! We purchased 2 Horchata, tamales, and other snacks for later. It was one of our most memorable stops while on vacation. If we were staying longer in Tucson, we would have gone back for more of the meat and other fish meals. The store also had a bakery and plenty of Mexican candies and related food. There are other daily necessities for cooking Mexican meals. It is a great place for traditional Mexican food, which was delicious, served by dedicated workers who care.

Amazing pastries, food, cool stuff and people that work there. This is the best bakery with great prices. All the people working there are super nice, helpful and friendly. I love this place!!!

Came here with my older on 7/26/25, good background music and selection of drinks and food. The staff there was very welcoming and bilingual. Got a chorizo burrito and joked about how hot I wanted it. Flavor was just right in the burrito! Talked to some of the staff and discussed about Mexican fútbol. Really great spot and if I ever come back to Tucson I'd like to try this place again!

This is by far the best place to experience Hispanic and south of the border food and cuisine/culture as well as get any daily necessity or snack and the people who run this small business have outdone everybody in this town and with the utmost humility and humbleness. PLEASE PLEASE if you are in Tucson dont waste your money elsewhere because these people not only tldeserve it but serve quality to match whatever you could spend.

Found another gem for my collection of premium places to shop. Top quality everything. I told them that this was my first visit and I’m so glad I did. The staff was outstandingly friendly. From fresh vegetables, to lean and expertly cut meat, to freshly baked goods ( I tried some of each.), the quality was excellent. They even cooked my chicken on the grill while I shopped at no extra charge! I’m very impressed, especially after tasting everything at home. I will definitely be shopping here.

Good people, the service is awesome and they have such a selection of meats and tortillas, not to mention the pan dulce (sweet bread) they make in a whole other part of the shop dedicated for their bakery. They'll even cook your food for you outside with quality mesquite Charcoal.

Very nice atmosphere and organized little market. They have a variety of selection on meat, our favorite was the arrachera (skirt steak), we also grabbed a selection of meat to grill and chicken for the weekend. The bread was on the hard side, and the tres leches cake was good. We will be back to try their menu.

Love the friendly staff, they have a great selection of food, the bakery is so good, nice selection of tortillas, they have fresh tamales, horchata, and arroz con leche. One staff member, Carmen, even told me I can order vegan tamales, so they've won my heart.
